After a team effort the Security Access code is: S11820

The next version of VCDS will have that code shown in a help balloon.

This has not worked, I still get the error when this code has been put in and trying to calibrate the synchro points

Are you entering it exactly has Dana has posted it, including the leading 'S' ?

Yes I've done that, then moving to calibration of synchro points leads to the error out of range.
Just to check - do you mean the error code has changed?

(It was "Error: service not supported in active session" at the start)

When trying to reset all adaptations error: service not supported comes up. When trying to calibrate synchro points error out of range comes up, no matter if I put the access code in or not

OK. Are these the instructions and prerequisites you are following?

Yes I've done that, then moving to calibration of synchro points leads to the error out of range.

Yes, copied and pasted into vcds
OK, that procedure involving [*IDE02903*] Basic setting of transmission is the only tested procedure we have to offer.

Next, if this vehicle has a new dual clutch we can look into that to see if [*IDE02909*] Start double clutch fast adaptation is the only required step but the repair history would be helpful.

In the meanwhile I'm not aware of any test plans or feedback related to [*IDE07863*] Calibration of synchro-points and [*IDE00498*] Resetting of all adaptation values can have some very undesirable results in come control modules. What diagnostic procedures are you following?

Just to confirm, I had the car in the garage, odis reset the transmission as needed and issue is gone.
