How to see if a car engine is modded/mapped?

Hello -

Where do I look on a scan to check if a Golf Mk7 (Tdi/DSG) has been mapped or engine modded? As a starting point.

I would log requested boost during a full-throttle run through 2nd (or better yet 3rd) gear, find the peak value, and compare that to a known stock engine of the same type.
