What are you talking about? Your pressure values for what?
"particle filter difference pressure"What are you talking about? Your pressure values for what?
Is that even necessary? With the engine shut down, there would be nothing producing any pressure, meaning unless something is plugged, and the plug is acting as a sort of check valve, the reading should be zero. Why not remove the lines off the sensor, so that both ports are open to atmosphere and then check its reading?
Agree... but since we're 3pgs into this "diag", I'd prefer to isolate the damn sensor! Is that even necessary? With the engine shut down, there would be nothing producing any pressure, meaning unless something is plugged, and the plug is acting as a sort of check valve, the reading should be zero.

Can you pinch that off or plug it anywhere to determine why?I did follow both lines, one of them goes to the dpf, the other one goes past the dpf, and links to the exhaust pressure sensor or egr differential sensor. That hose that links the two does not hold vacuum or pressure. When I replaced that hose my hpa values went way down and were more responsive. But end up going into negative values occasionally at idle, even after resetting learned values and adaptation
So riddle me this.... if that sensor has 2 ports on it, and it's reading negative pressure (vacuum) across the DPF, does that make sense in your universe?
Do you think that the DPF is imploding at times?
Why not remove the lines off the sensor, so that both ports are open to atmosphere and then check its reading? Wouldn't a working sensor at this point
I got ahold of an emissions diagram and figured out what I was doing wrong, when I was checking those hoses I couldnt see or feel this T fitting that went between both sensors so I believed it to be a big leak, ran a solid hose between the two sensors and thats when I was getting negative values. Diagrams showed otherwise. All good nowCan you pinch that off or plug it anywhere to determine why?
