Option #1 = Yes (that is the newest part number, it looks like the old part numbers where superseded at least two times!)

Option #2 = No (only fits 2019 ~ 2023 A6, A7, A8, Q3, Q5, Q7, Q8, etc)

And Yes, genuine Audi spark plugs are recommended.

One thing to remember, these vehicles were designed and built to use these specific parts, so it only makes sense to use original Audi/Volkswagen parts.

Okay thank you, unfortunately I already pulled the trigger on the order for number two option, I entered my VIN number on their website so it's really irritating that it's ended up being the wrong one, I requested a change hopefully they can update that before it ships out.

ok, new coils and plugs are installed. I hate to admit this but I feel I owe it to the channel. I inspected the coils that I replaced and to my surprise I had 3 different part numbers on the 4 ignition coils. I trusted way too much when buying from the local box stores. I feel like a fool and I am upset that I have wasted money. I am however very greatful for the advise that came from this forum. Thank you for those how chimed in. I am guessing that I will not be able to return the garbage ignition coils so I will call this the cost of my lesson.

The fault code P0236 will set when the Engine Control Module detects any of the following conditions:

​

- A difference between turbocharger boost pressure and manifold absolute pressure exceeding 75 mBar.​

- A difference between barometric pressure and turbocharger boost pressure exceeding 75 mBar.​

- A difference between barometric pressure and manifold absolute pressure exceeding 75 mBar.​

Inspect the G31 (Charge Air Pressure Sensor), V465 (Charge Air Pressure Actuator), boost pipe/hoses, clamps, intercooler, and all associated components for leaks, damage, or improper operation. Also verify there are no wiring or connection concerns too.

We recommend to use the Official Factory Repair Information when trying to diagnose and repair these vehicles.
