Hello Everyone,
I am new to the forum and would like to get some input/help with my BCM issue. I have a 2011 VW Jettasportwagen 2.0 TDI (CJAA) and my BCM started to go out and ordered a new one that a VW dealership told me to get. The original part# PQ35 5K0 937 084E and the part the dealership told me to get was PQ35 5K0 937 087K, they told me that was the upgraded version of my original one. I got the VCDS and attempted to do the coding but I did not follow everything right as I am new to it all and should have asked for more guidance (my fault) but now I'm having some minor issues after the coding. The car starts most things work but not all, only one daytime light comes on and with just the daytime lights on my driver reverse light is on, the doors won't lock from the inside of car and my sun roof won't work now. Right now I have the code exactly like the old one but with the updated BCM I am not sure if there is a different code that needs in there instead or if I am just missing something or since I didn't copy the original code and put it in there like I should have to began with if that is where I messed up. I'm sure there is more info you all would need to help out but this is a start and I hope I can get these issues fixed. Thanks

I do not have a scan of before but I can install the old bcm and do a scan then swap it back and then do a scan on the new one.

The difference I see is the shop# the first 5 numbers are different. I don't know if I am able to change those.

That has no functional effect on anything. It's just a record of who made changes last.

However, the part numbers are quite different:

5K0 937 084 E / BCM PQ35 B
5K0 937 087 K / BCM PQ35 H

I suppose B is base and H is high.

I called the VW dealership and that is the part# they gave me, they said it is the upgraded version. At one point I did have the lights working correctly and the sunroof, the only thing was the locks. That is when I changed the coding to match the other BCM, and now I can't get it working properly.

Correct

As replacement Part VW delivers only high Versions of BCMs, so this is correct.

BUT !!!

For Base and high Units it is possible that codings are different in some Points, so it make Sense to give the ne BCM a Odis online coding.
