New member from Finland asking about ABS related problems.
So i have this 2008 VW Golf 1.4 TSI with automatic transmission. It has ABS related fault in memory. Here is the autoscan of the car. The computers time was not in the right date and time, nevermind the time and date in the scan results.
I’m suspecting it would be the ABS Control Module that is being faulty and causing the problems related to the ABS fault codes?
The front right side wheel speed sensor and bearing has been replaced already, and during the test drive with the VCDS i can see the wheel speeds from all 4 sensors. Brake pump test can be done succesfully and brake pressures are in the specs.
The fitted ABS Control Module is 1K0907379AE and the Pump Module is 1K0614517BE.
Is it possible to replace old one to this unit: 1K0907379BJ / 1K0614517DE?
And if so, what is the correct coding to be inserted to the replacement unit? I did check this post, but i dont know where in the ABS code segment are the values to be replaced / changed?

- if old ABS had 18-byte coding you must add 2 zeros (00) and disable bit 7 of byte 16 (unless NIRA iTPMS should be used, because the function of this bit has changed and would prevent DDS+ iTPMS from working correct)”

Still not everything sorted out with the electrics, some fault codes with address 09 central electrics and address 16 steering wheel.
