Friend of mine, contractor who does a lot of work for me, has one. He loves the thing.

I must say that you clearly have not used one !!

I have had my Fold 5 for some 2 years and it is far from delicate !! Add to that I am no delicate user !!

Show me a picture of your fingernails !! I will show you mine 💘

You are the exception to the rule, then, especially with the Fold 3 you mentioned later in this thread. I'm genuinely happy for you; most people don't get that lucky with these devices. Screen failures in less than 2 years are extremely common, unfortunately.

As for fingernails, mine don't extend past my fingertips because I bite my nails (lol). I'll just point you to the Jerry Rig Everything videos where he does Mohs hardness testing and I've seen one or two on the flip/fold where he's actually shown he can easily dent the screen permanently with nothing but his fingernail.

I know a handful of people that have them and really no issues !!

No I am not on commission !

Play fair - It is not designed or aimed idiots doing what idiots do !! As with most phones, it is a delicate instrument.

Some are more delicate than others. ;)

I had a Sony Android for a time - What a useless piece of shit !!

You only had to look at it and the screen would crack and render it useless !!

My wife's pixel fold broke with very little use of the inside screen. Google said it would be 750ish to fix. no thanks.

back to the windows tablet talk,

I ran a Surface pro 4 for many years. The touch screen was a little sensitive and would phantom click if there was a spec of dirt anywhere on the screen. I would recommend it to someone looking for a windows tablet

Yep, solid line of computers. I never had the phantom click you just described, despite owning a Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 4, "Surface Pro" 2017 model (when they didn't include a model number), and my current Surface Pro 8. The 4 is still my main go-to for VCDS. :)
