Good morning, I have a seat occupancy recognition code being stored and illuminated airbag light because of it. I tried to reset it using resetting seat occupied recognition in VCDS, but it gives me an error stating "Request Sequence Order" although all prerequisites are met. Measured values are above 0pF, voltage, temp, empty seat, seatbelt etc. What am I missing?

Part number is 5K0 035 730 E which pulls up a Bluetooth control module, this was gathered from under the passengers seat. Is the the right pod that works with the seat recognition? There is also a bigger metal box under drivers seat.


So will this resolve the issue?

Also I see part number
(5C6-959-339-B-00A) is attached underseat so disregard what I said about the Bluetooth thing

Internal System Fault errors usually mean that the module has found an error in the module which cannot be repaired by diagnostic procedures.. it is most often a failure of components in the module itself. Could be a memory fault.

I ordered a new module, I should then be able to reprogram the new module serial number to my car, then do the seat recognition procedure again and be good?

I can see the future as I will be added to this list. Will update on how it goes. Is there a special way to reprogram the new one? There is only two options under the drop down box.
