LF: Later ALH turbo bracket to block lower bolt size or part number

Hi Folks,

I'm looking for the VW part # of the bolt that attaches the turbo bracket to the block on the later ALH TDI cars.
This would be the bolt used on the later cars where the bracket is mounted slightly above the oil return line port in the block.

I've looked at any online VW parts fiche pages that I can find with no luck, and my local VW dealer can't find the bolt in their parts system either.

If I knew the size and length of the bolt, I'd just go buy one, but I'd prefer the OEM VW bolt if I can find the part number for it.

Yes, the M10x15 looks like it may be the correct size!

The M8x35 is the bolt on the turbo end of the bracket. This one is no problem.

I'm will go to the VW dealer this morning and see if they can order the M10 screw for me.

For whatever reason, we have not been able to locate it in the parts diagrams.

I ordered the bolt from the VW dealer and will see if it is indeed the correct one.

I removed this bolt from my 03 Golf today to verify and it is an M10x16 with a 2.5mm thick captive washer. So, the usable length of the bolt is actually 13.5mm.

Thanks for the reply. I use Partsbase all the time, but it wasn't clear to me that that was the correct bolt.

I have ordered it from VW and will know early this week if it's the right bolt.

I'm changing turbos on my 2000 Beetle...going from the old style to the later ALH style.
