Humming/electric like noise in Polo 6r

Hello guys first time poster, the car is polo 6r 1.4 petrol.
There is very subtle huuming/electric noise that i hear acompanied with very subtle light vibrations to the steering whee when the car is in neutral, idling.
When i turn the sterring wheel that noise is gone.
What could it be, is it the electric motor for the hydrauilic system, and thats just the way it works, or could it be something else.
Additionaly there is noting wrong with the steering everthing is normal, just that, the noise is bugging me.

What could it be, is it the electric motor for the hydrauilic system, and thats just the way it works, or could it be something else.

It may be that ?? It is possible ??

How would anyone on a forum know ? Or be able to either confirm or deny that ?

Get a stethoscope and investigate or take to a garage and ask for help.

Sounds like a "hang-over" to me.
