@EuroX Thanks for this! This car is my son's daily driver - likely won't keep it for much longer - downside of trying the lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer? I read a few threads claiming that it may be possible to flush out the screen by draining the oil, replacing with kerosene, letting it "soak" and then draining that out (some suggested that it may flush the pieces out the drain hole). Thoughts? I'm wondering where the pickup tube is located? Front of the pan or in the back? Trying to visualize what's happening exactly. I just drove 60 miles on back roads with no lights or codes so I'm starting to feel more confident that it is, in fact, little pieces of CCT guide getting sucked up into the tube and then sinking back down when the car is turned off.
