Hello everyone
1. Would like to know if anyone has successfully changed the XDS settings on a 2016 GTI. I've follow the instructions that most suggest(listed below) but there's no channel under the name “Expanded electronic differential lock” in the 03 ABS--> Adaptations.
Thanks
11. XDS Adaptation
Go into [03] ABS
Go into Adaptation & select “Expanded electronic differential lock”
New value to select > “Standard”, “Not activated”, “Weak”, “Medium”, “Strong”
EDIT SOLVED #1: For reference to anyone else, the channel name is "no display" now a code is needed and unknown at the moment.
2. For the headlight adjustment for vehicles with Xenon. While following the steps in Ross's main page is the manual adjustment via the screws in the headlamp done to both lights? See below for process im following.
Procedure for Aligning Xenon Headlamps:
[Select]
[55 - Xenon Range] (For some newer vehicles, use [29 - Left Light] instead )
[Basic Settings - 04]
Group 001
[Go!]
Wait at least 20 seconds for the headlamp motors to move. The headlamps are now in their adjustment position. Turn on headlights. Adjust them via their manual adjusting screws as referenced against a suitable aiming target.
Scroll up to Group 002. The Xenon Range controller has now learned this position as its Home position.
Click the [Done, Go Back] button and you're all set.
EDIT SOLVED #2: It seems that when i went into the menu for the headlamps, selecting the option 1 reset the calibration and the headlights are now as the should(this being after lowering the car, which resulted in a lower headlight aim)
