The starting circuit may be getting the signal as submodule, but a shorted connection in the ECU?
It was fine before the puddle, which I would guess points to a short somewhere.
If it can't start with no signal, how does it?

Not that it matters , but on the freebee wiring diagrams that are available I found that of the three wires from G28 one is ground , one goes straight to the ECU, and one connects to both the fuel pressure sensor, and the Exhaust pressure sensor, then it goes to the ECU.
My plan is to get a full wiring diagram, pull the ECU and determine the corrupted circuits, the back trace to the short(s)?

We are at post #115... as early as posts 33/34 you were told to check wiring.... at least you're getting to it now.
At this rate, this heap might get fixed before ICE becomes outlawed.

Ya, well, the light dawns on marble head. I realize now you were trying to get Mr to ping individual components.
I did check the wiring in the vicinity of G28, all the way to the CPU.
The fact I just found out about the puddle incident two days ago screwed up my head.
Being new to the software causes frustration. I couldn't find NOx on the drop down list, and Oxygen only turned up one sensor.
I know it will take a bit, but thanks for your efforts.

well, not sure if anyone was waiting for the finally, but the solution was to replace the engine wiring harness.

I tracked down three open circuits after I split the harness open, multiple intermittents, some of which I couldn't repeat no matter what I tried. The fact that 2 problem circuits were behind the the oil filter made the decision for me to just scrap the whole thing.

It runs great.

so thanks for all the input, turns out everything was false positives and negatives because of multiple electrical faults.......I'm aware, very frustrating
