When posting Channel Maps (Can-Bus and K-Line diagnostics) I noted on @Jef latest RT video that he mentions
"with the vehicle warmed up" , and running, start the process.

Can I place a battery charger on the vehicle and have the key in the "ON" position with a cold vehicle and still have useable data / maps? Or, do you need the vehicle at operating temperatures or (how about) operating temperatures and then engine off and key ON, with battery charger support, then proceed?

Edit: ahh, ok, I think I get it..... "capturing the Live data" as stated in the video.

Thank you!

Yes... in most cases when people are looking for [XYZ] data, it is generally with a warmed up engine at idle. But all the a same, maps with a cold engine off could still prove useful... and you can always go back and post a hot engine idle map later on.

Ok, thanks Jef, I’ll get the maps posted (cold engine off, key On) and post additional maps in the future ; operating temperature at idle.
