Hi, I updated VCDS 15.7.3 for my Golf mk7(Japanese) from 15.7.2 but I can not see any long coding helper on STG 5F information electronics.
And also I can not see STG 09 label file too. Until 15.7.2, I personally edited comment out of my STG09 module name of "5Q0 937 085 Q" to display long coding helper but from 15.7.3, 5Q-09.lbl file was changed from text file to binary file of 5Q-09.cbl file that I can not edit myself.

Will you please support my STG 09 module of 5Q0 937 085 Q on 15.7.3 also. Thank you.

Is there a way to see a change log for 15.7.4? I downloaded and installed it, but I don't know if I get any supported benefits for my 2008 MK5 Glof GTI for the DSG transmission. I want to be able to make changes to the shift points in the transmission (or at least get some sort of long coding support).

Ross-Tech usually doesn't supply a changelog for minor versions. The changes were rather minor, a coding related issue effecting MY 2016 vehicles was fixed and some tweaks regarding HEX-NET support were implemented (both, thanks to Eric). documentation wise, there were some quite a few and additions going back as far as MY 2002. So updating is always recommended.

As far as shift point changes go, this would be something you'd need to talk to a tuner about. VCDS was never and will never be able to make these kind of modifications. Long coding support requires the control module itself to support that type of coding. The 6-Speed DSG (02E) in your GTI is simply too old for that kinda stuff (meaning this isn't a limitation of VCDS, but one of the control module in question)...
