Dear all, I have been trying to program my keys to a replacement comfort control module in the golf .
It's used as new is no longer available .
I have managed to program one, by having ign on, key in lock, turn to lock and hold then press both buttons..... but it won't learn the 2nd key.
trying the VCDS way, it won't recognise either keys following what I think is the correct procedure.
Eg, go to 46 comfort module, go to 00, read, save... go to 01... I tried many times to move it from stored value of 1 to 2 and I have 2 keys to program, but it refuses.
I assume this is why it won't manually learn the 2nd key.
Can anyone give any clue why it's not playing?
The only thing I can think of is the bcm will only ever accept 4 keys....and say 3 of have been programmed to the previous vehicle it was fitted to.
Any ideas?
Peter
