2007 2.0 TFSI Audi TT ESP Fault after ABS pump replace.

Good morning Guys,

thank you for accepting me on the forum.

My original abs pump was temperamental, so i purchased a second hand ABS pump (with the same part number).

When my mechanic fitted the pump, he said he went through pump adaptation. All of the parameters has been adapted, except the one which is lateral sensor.

His diagnostic tool was coming up with following fault:

058F Lateral acceleration sensor
Basic setting not performed / wrong.

I have seen similar thread on this forum, however OP did not posted the solution to the issue.

the Donor pump was coming from 2006 TT 2000cc.

Does anyone of you had a similar issue, or solution to the problem ?

In that case I am not sure how much help I can offer - This is a forum for Legitimate VCDS owners.

Hi Guys, bought a cable - removed fault by getting G200 to basic settings. All working fine now.

I guess i joined the Ross Tech family for good now.
