Looking to access the mmi or dashboard function to monitor my oil temp.

Is there a way to enable this feature on the 2015 s4 by modifying coding with vcds?

Thanks for your support I appreciate your help.

Quick google search yields:
[17 - Instruments]
[Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 1

Bit 3 - Check the box for "Lap Timer active"
I don't remember exactly what I did on mine 9 years ago, but it works ;)
Lap timer displays the oil temperature on top of the MFI in the dashboard. Caveat: the oil temp disappears when you hit reserve on the fuel level.

Thanks Eric! This worked and now I can view my lap times back and forth from the office. I’m noticing an improvement on the return trip home !
