Skoda Octavia mk3 2017 1.6 TDI ESC Stability Control Error after an alternator change

Hello!

I have a Skoda Octavia 3 from 2017 with 1.6 diesel, the motor is CXXB with an Automatic transmission with a bunch of faults after an broken alternator and was replaced with a NEW one at a mechanic garage. The symptoms are for example : When i drive the car after a while ESC Stability Control Error pops on the screen and unlocks the door locking system and on infotainment screen i see The ParkPilot is currently not available (All the Parking Sensors i tested and they are ok )
I changed and correctly coded with VCDS a new battery with an AGM Bosch because the battery was 2 years old and i thought it might solve the problem but i had the same faults. Took the car at mechanic garage and he told me is the ABS module (pomp) wich he replaced and after that was the same faults. He erased the faults in VCDS and faults came back again.
And then he said we need to take the car and go to the Skoda dealership to check the new alternator to see if is working good or not. Can someone help me please ! Thank you

Hi again !
I don't know exactly if the alternator is OEM or Aftermarket because i asked the mechanic to see (label on the alternator) that if is compatible with the CXXB motor that i have and he couldn't give me a clear answer.
About the ABS Coding mechanic said he didn't do the coding himself because he doesn't know how to do it and he asked somebody else outside the garage who does the coding for him for some time. And the guy said the coding is correctly done And another thing, the mechanic said today is the ABS is running in safe mode ... is this possible done ? I will receive the car tomorrow to see if i can find the label on alternator.

The ABS is the correct one for the car because i checked the label on the abs module . I don't know for sure if the coding was done right and i don't know for sure if it was 100% an working one because when you buy a part you don't know if is working or is faulty unless you have a way of testing it.
I notice that too the Alternator (generator) has no fault on Gateway. But for example if my car has an alternator of 110 A and i replace it with a new one of 140 A Or if i have an alternator on the car of 140 A and i replace it with 110 A it will give thees faults?

Hi again ! And thank you for the answers.

Some small update about the car. I received the information that the mechanic put the alternator in safe mode ( not the abs ) and at the moment the alternator is charging the battery like 13 V instead of 14 V for example. And he said the ESC Control Stability Error is not coming up after a test drive of few kilometers. But he has on the Battery icon on dashboard for that. Is it safe what he did driveing the car like that? It will not affect other electronic components in the car? Just asking.

I guess it was better if he looked at the label of the new alternator and judge by that he could find out if it is the right alternator for the car. He was told since the beginning that the problem on the car was after an alternator change but he decided to charge me for an abs pump wich is useless to me right now and he demands more money just because he lost the time ''investigating'' the problem by doing the measurements ( fuses relays grounds ) and he said all the measurements are ok after he realized is not the abs pump. And at this point the car is not solved.

Wrong alternator installed, safe mode my ass, he cut control wiring so the alternator stays in fixed voltage. Bye bye battery management with such hacks. I’m about to throw up now …

I found some similarities on the forum about some codes and faulty messages . I don't have problems with engine to stall (stops) . Only sometimes the Start / Stop system Error comes up on the dash. Wrong alternator installed, safe mode my ass, he cut control wiring so the alternator stays in fixed voltage.

Don't you think there would be a fault in the Gateway with that kind of hack?

Absolutely, but who knows what they played with. Because 19 does not report anything of the generator.

Thing is the Auto scan i posted on the forum is with the new alternator after it was installed on 11 December. Mechanic was putting the alternator in safe mode on 19 December and i don't have a new scan since then ( to compare ) because the car is still in the mechanic's garage and i don't have access at it to make a new scan but anyways will make no difference in solving the problem.
Probably a lot of other extra faulty messages on right now. I will wait until January to take the car because of the holidays and no one at the garage until then. I will have new updates after.
I will look for all the solutions i got here and see what i can do. I will be back with the updates thank you all and happy holidays for now.

It was pointless to get an agreement with them , was better to just go and mind my own bussiness , dealing with mediocre mechanics ripping off people for their mistakes was a waste of time for me. To much time consuming in court and everything .
