2012 Passat TDI NMS retrofit remote start

Hello,

I purchased the parts for retrofitting remote start on my wifes 2012 Passat. I was looking through the forums for the steps to perform once the parts are installed but was not having any luck. I was curious if anyone knows what all needs done. The steps mention putting a code in if you are using ODIS but not much else.

Hello.

You won't be able to use the SVM code for this as that's for the dealer machine, but it may still be possible with some coding or adaptation changes using VCDS
Please post an autoscan and hopefully someone who is familiar with this retrofit will be able to help you

Thanks, I figured that code wouldn't help me using VCDS but I wanted to give everyone the information I had. I will post an Auto Scan this evening when I get home.

Here is the Auto Scan. I see I have some other things to look into as well but regardless, if anyone knows what may need to happen after installing the remote start kit I would be very appreciative. Only other retrofit I have done was a tow module on my Q5 which took a lot of research but I found some others that had done it and helped me along.

I got my used BCM coded and installed, vehicle now starts with help from 2kaa52. I am waiting on a fuse that was also fried to get everything communicating how it should to continue the remote start process.
