Porsche support

Just wondered if there will ever be support for the 991 992 series. Fully understand licensing issues but sometimes things do change. I love this software for my VWs and like to have it for my new toys.

In the VCDS installation directory, open the [Auto Scan] text file.

Remove sign ; before the name Porsche and when you close the file it asks if you want to save, say Yes.
Porsche (those supported) will appear in the Auto Scan drop-down list.

Thanks so much for this but as I’m a bit of a rebel and have a 911 992, I will check this out and see what is there but I think I may be asking a little much. It was just in the dealer for 7 days to resolve a problem that would have taken me a few hrs to sort out with this software if it would work for me. Only want basic codes and reset capability.

You probably know that VCDS does not officially "read" Porsche.

Never say never, but I will say: Unlikely. We have no source of data for them.
