Hello, everyone!
So I had a parasite consumption and went to each fuse by simply takin them off one by one while check which one was the consumpator.
After this, got to try to start the car and boom, it happened. Imobilizer for some reason cannot communicate with the Gateway and the car starts for 2-3 second then turn off.
Attached the logs below [1]. Went through all the forums and error codes for each ones and I have tried:
- Disconnect the battery, connect both terminals of the car to consume the ECU power for 15 seconds, reconnect
- Use the key to unlock/lock the car manually
- Checked cables from the Gateway for any broken pins, all good visually
- Recharged the battery overnigh (altough for some reason does not want to go pass 12.2V)
- Also tried to hook up my motrcycle battery to charge it around 12.8 V (connected) to see if the issue could come from the battery
Observations:
- I cannot guarantee that the battery is healthy, not sure if the test with the motorcycle should discart the possibility that the battery would be one of the root causes.
- I cannot see any corelation between just unpluging fuses and putting them back with what could have caused the issue.
- I cannot retrieve logs from the Imobilizer section as it will not communicate. Only the logs from Engine can be retrieved (as it communicates through K line?)
- Auto-scan will not work ending with "function not supported by the gateway"
- Before this, everything worked with the VCDS
- VCDS has Green Light one so I assume the issue is with something else
So I'm out of ideas. Everything got resetted by default and now the car does not start, so any help would be appreciated.
Any idea what can I do to treoubleshoot? Any component that just burned out and I should change?
Many thanks!
