Purchased car and had a couple things not working... Finally got my heated seats working - the butt pad was worn out and caused an open circuit... after replacing and clearing fault code - I have nice toasty butt warmer on the drivers side finally...

one I havent been able to figure out and not even sure where to start is the not being able to connect my phone to my radio... Scan shows the following 77 with an open circuit... How do I trace this down? is there some sort of tool I need to test the bluetooth/MDI module or to bypass it and verify its the module not wiring somewhere?

Yes still need assistance. showing 2 malfunctions in my 77 telephone controller module and hoping its something simple as whoever had it before swapped it out and didnt code it right or something easy to just do as a quick fix.

I did get my heated seat not working fixed (in a previous post, butt pad was shorted out and just plugging in new pad it didnt work, but once I cleared code with it plugged in, it works). after 8 hours of tearing the drivers seat out of car, peeling covers off and then reinstalling everything, I have a nice toasty seat for this cold fall/winter thats here.

Anyone able to provide some help here?

Try changing byte 6 in 77-Telphone from 00 to 01. I rather doubt this car has a Telephone baseplate, and that change should de-activate the diagnostic check for it.

You might also un-check Byte 4, Bit 7 so that this 77-Telephone module doesn't think it's in China anymore.

I tried the above recommended and no luck. Still getting the same error.

would replacing the module likely fix it? not sure if previous owner spilled something on it in the center arm rest area possibly? or should I be tearing the interior apart looking for a broken wire?
