Hello, I have recently came into possession of a 2015 Skoda Superb FL, and it came with a kenwood cd player with bt, the kenwood was powered directly from the fuse box, but I think it was installed wrong, because it would not power down when the car was off.
I took it down and spent some time without a headunit/radio, also managed to do a VCDS scan and got the following error:

Code:
7144 - Please Check DTC Memory in CAN Gateway (J533)
  U1008 00 [047] - -
[New feature! Extended UDS fault detail is only supported by current gen. interfaces]
Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear

    Time: 12:36:23
    Engine speed: 978.50 /min
    Normed load value: 24.7 %
    Vehicle speed: 0 km/h
    Coolant temperature: 63 °C
    Intake air temperature: 37 °C
    Ambient air pressure: 970 mbar

    Engine status: COENG_RUNNING
Engine status-Test_Program_Co Eng st COMPU VERB UBYTE: 3
    Readiness: 0 0 0 0 0

Soon after I got a RNS 310 mounted, hoping that will fix my issues, I had assumed the error was because the can can no longer talk to the headunit. After mounting the RNS I am still getting the error but I am also getting another error:

Code:
00470 - Company Comfort Databus in Single Wire
  011 - Open Circuit
  Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 01101011
    Fault Priority: 3
    Fault Frequency: 237
    Reset counter: 227
    Mileage: 273925 km
    Time Indication: 0
    Date: 2019.03.01
    Time: 12:35:53

I should mention I have no issue with battery draining. Only issues I have notices is that the headunit does not show the side sensors on the display, and sometimes a sensor gets stuck beeping and I need to turn the car off and start it again for it to reset.

Now for my questions:
1. Should I swap the RNS 310 with a Columbus unit? Would that make the errors go away? Or maybe go back to the kenwood, and wire it to power on contact, maybe from the lighter?
2. I checked the driver side door wires and the wires are fine, any other known problem spots to check for and see if the can wire is interrupted?

Any other advice on how to get all this mess sorted?

Please post an Auto-Scan that is made with the English version of VCDS and which is full and NOT edited.

I have one with the headunit turned off and I also get alot of failures that I dont usually get when the headunit is turned on:

Code:
Removed. Data from a clone/pirate copy of VCDS is not acceptable in Ross-Tech's forum.

You need to save the scan with the “save” function, not print to file and your interface is letting you down, you need a new GENUINE interface.

Thanks @Crasher will try to get those sorted. So it could just be an issue of the interface and it reading BS?

Not worth a scan with this bootleg interface?

Code:
VCDS Version: Release 20.4.2(x64)

I have my doubts this is genuine interface.

I'm not a 100% its not genuine, but you guys are not the first to say it is not. Scan was not done by me.

But It looks like I need to buy an interface for myself, If I can't rely on scans performed by others.

Thanks for the help, will return with a proper autoscan, soonish, I hope.

Start a new thread in the New User section when you have a scan made with a legitimate VCDS system.
