Hi All,
the problem is that during vacuum cleaning the seat was moved to both forward and backward maximum positions. After that it's moving only by 20mm and stops.
It's moving again after releasing and pressing the button again.
I assume that because of that seat's memory stopped working at all.

In the measurement blocks I can see that the position is not changing during the movement and DTC says:
9657641 - Sensor for Seat Fore/Aft Adjustment
B135D 29 [009] - Signal Implausible
Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00000001
Fault Priority: 4
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 136
Mileage: 244801 km
Date: 2024.11.05
Time: 18:21:13

Somebody guide me please where should I look for aformentioned sensor?
I was checking all harneses' under the seat and everything looks fine.
I can't find and understand how the position is measured as I can't see any sensor on the rail ;)

Thanks. I was thinking about this as the wiring diagram doesn't have any sensor on it.
Do You know how is this realized? Communication over power cables or something else?
I've just noticed that both seats have the same type of the motor.
I need to find some time and try to switch them places.

Please ask the workshop to message or email you the text file of the full Auto-Scan - VCDS saves this in C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Scans so that you can share it here with us.

It seems that I definitely need to think about this as the workshop begins to get frustrated with its lack of skills.

Really? Probably that's the reason they cannot handle the repair.
Anyhow I need to change the workshop.
Thanks for the support and sorry for the inconvenience.
