Audi A3 8Y RS taillight animation

Hello All,

I have been coding RS animation on various Audi A3 8Y models, on both sportback and limo version. However, I have issues with enabling them on limo versions with Matrix headlights. (Have not had a sportback yet with Matrix headlights)

A summary of cars that worked:
- A3 8Y sportback with LED headlights (PR:8IT) from 2022
- A3 8Y Limo with LED headlights (PR:8IT) from 2021

Cars that did not work:
- A3 8Y Limo with Matrix headlights (PR:8IY) 2 times, both from 2021

Both cars that did not work, have only a standard animation. Goal here is to have RS animation.

I compared adaption channels, and could not find a difference. However, there is a difference in BCM hardware. Unfortunately I don't have a VCDS adaption log of both cars (I have from different software), only a full scan.

Tail light (rear light). It is also mentioned in the title

I know your title, but you ask for taillight, but wrote front light PR-Code, that's why it was confusing
You'll need 8VP PR Code for taillight Animation. Front light PR-Code doesn't matter

Well here is the funny thing. On taillights with PR-8VM, RS animation works. On lights with PR-8VP, RS animation does not working, only standard animation.

I have heared to try 3 instead of 5. Im my eyes 8VM and 8VP no matters, because part no of taillights are the same! I know this matters at Audi A6 C8, but on A3 8Y part no are the same. I think it has to do with dataset. Sometimes the dataset is already loaded and sometimes not. I have done some retrofits with set from Kufatec and after always RS animation. Try variant 3 instead of 5.
