You have fitted the wrong sensor, it was VW part number 4M0 907 807 AH and changed in 2023 to 4M0 907 807 BN it is only available genuine and retails at £896.40, not the news a Scotsman likes to hear

Thanks for that, yes that was the price I was quoted by Highland Audi! although I normally persuade them to give me 10% - Autodoc have refunded me for the spurious one, which was quite hassle free surprisingly, even though I bought it in February!
