Hi All

First time posting and hoping I can get some guidance or advice,

When I put my car into reverse, it's saying Park Assist is deactivated, this happened after playing around with the one click apps in Carista, long story short without boring you all with the details just yet, I’m getting the following errors on my Park Assist Module

B107A14 - Supply voltage for park assist sensor: Open circuit/short circuit to ground

In summary, the short to ground seems to have appeared either after me disabling the rear camera which took place in the Infotainment system apparently (one click app) or having certain modules reflashed back to factory after, thus making me think it’s not a wiring issue rather the module is faulty, if we take the park assist module, the cameras appear but parking sensors do not work, although someone has said this has nothing to do with parking sensors rather the error suggets its the sensors for parrallel parking.

When I swap the module with another module exact same part number, I’m now getting the following

B107A14 - Supply voltage for park assist sensor: Open circuit/short circuit to fround (red)
B10F9F1 - Right front centre parking aid senors - Functional error, baseline oversht, time too long (green)
B10FCF0 - Front park assist senors - Functional limitation due to environmental influences (green)
B107BF0 - Rear park assist sensors - Functional limitation due to environmental influences (green)
B202200 - Functional limitation due to environmental influences (green)

Green errors are ones that can be cleared and would go, but Red remain.

1. Would this module have to be coded into the cars ECU even though it’s the same part number?
2. If the cause of the Short to Ground was as a result of the original module being faulty, should the open circuit/short circuit error disappear instantly when plugging this new module in? Or would it first have to be coded for that error to also go away?
3. Would these additional errors occur because the module isn’t coded in?

Regards

Do you have a previous VCDS Auto-Scan on your computer? There is not much (I think) the forum can do without a VCDS Auto-Scan ; typically, other scan tools and support for them are not addressed on this forum.
If you can get a RT VCDS Auto-Scan from a friend or other, you can post it here and we may be able to help. Note: just make certain the Auto-Scan was generated from a Legitimate VCDS interface / product.
