Hi all looking for a bit of help, I have recently travelled through spain and while driving some of the mountain/hilly roads my car tripped into limp mode, this was when I was on some of the more mountainous duel carriageways. As the car had previously gone into limp mode on my outbound journey I was trying to keep speed and demand for power at a minimum and discovered that at 100 kph I had no issues however when above 103 kph the car went into limp mode and I believe it was as traveling up hill although it only happened on a couple of occasions. I have had the car mapped about two years ago and have not had this issue in the uk....yet. The message on the dash when going into limp mode was Drive system fault. Any help on how to test the suspect sensors See code below) would be very much appreciated.

Hi what is the location id for charge air pressure actual value, all I can find is charge pressure before throttle valve calculated actual value. IDE07375 is this the same thing ?

Until the DTC is set and then it will protect the environment, the neighbours. That can happen in 100mS

Hi, I have logged some of the parameters recorded on the fault recorded in the ECU, please see attached drop box link to the XL format file. Note column R is the difference between specified boost and actual boost (some instances show over 1000 difference). I have looked at hoses and turbo actuator is holding vacuum. Any further thoughts and also how many incidents of low boost pressure need to be captured until the car goes into limp mode?

With respect - There is no need for a data log to show us what is already very transparent in the FFF Data of the DTC.

Our friend @SaVAGeSoot is very clear there - Your tuner is trying to kill your turbo and possibly your engine !!!!
He has asked about EGT Exhaust Gas Temp logs ??


I would start by removing that tune / map from the car !! It is far too ambitious !!

So does that not confirm what we've all been telling you? Boost leak!
Visual inspection of charge system is not sufficient. You could have a crack in a pipe or intercooler or a split connection that only "opens up" once significant pressure exists in the system.
Pressure testing of the system is required.

Your IATs are through the roof, because your turbo is being asked to maintain 27psi of boost with a hole in the system.... so as a result, your compressor is being pushed way off its efficiency map and pretty much just creating heat while trying to self-destruct.
