Im not sure why but I have a crank no start issue and cant seem to figure out what the problem is. I do see that when comparing my old VCDS scans to the latest one that the CVN has changed which I believe means the ecu software has been changed (mine hasnt) so I am assuming it is corrupted? Is there anyway to code the correct CVN with VCDS?

The only thing that stands out to me other than that is that my terminal 30 is way too high, shouldn't it match the voltage at the end of the scan where it shows the Vbatt start/end? I looked at the relay under the drivers seat and tested it and it passed all tests other than step number 4, which I used a meter and not a test light but it should have still showed battery voltage correct? When I tried to start the car without the relay, it would not turn over, when I put the relay back in, it does the same as before, cranks, starts for a few seconds running roughly, and then dies. Aldo, I never had the nox errors before, they suddenly showed up the same time the terminal 30 voltage started showing 15volts in the glow plug controller terminal 30 voltage field
Heres how I tested the relay:
1) ohm meter check between pin 86 & 85
should be between 50-120 ohms
2) apply 12v to pin 86 (+) and pin 85 (-)
Should hear click, if not its bad.
3) With relay still powered (Step 2)
use ohm meter and check between pins 30 & 87
Should be at 0 ohms
4) Attach 12v (+) to pin 30
Attach test light/buzzer (+) to pin 87
Attach test light/buzzer (-) to ground
Light should come on (or buzzer)

End----------(Elapsed Time: 02:12, VBatt start/end: 12.4V/12.3V)-----------The only thing that stands out to me other than that is that my terminal 30 is way too high, shouldn't it match the voltage at the end of the scan where it shows the Vbatt start/end? I looked at the relay under the drivers seat and tested it and it passed all tests other than step number 4, which I used a meter and not a test light but it should have still showed battery voltage correct? When I tried to start the car without the relay, it would not turn over, when I put the relay back in, it does the same as before, cranks, starts for a few seconds running roughly, and then dies. Aldo, I never had the nox errors before, they suddenly showed up the same time the terminal 30 voltage started showing 15volts in the glow plug controller terminal 30 voltage field
Heres how I tested the relay:
1) ohm meter check between pin 86 & 85
should be between 50-120 ohms
2) apply 12v to pin 86 (+) and pin 85 (-)
Should hear click, if not its bad.
3) With relay still powered (Step 2)
use ohm meter and check between pins 30 & 87
Should be at 0 ohms
4) Attach 12v (+) to pin 30
Attach test light/buzzer (+) to pin 87
Attach test light/buzzer (-) to ground
Light should come on (or buzzer)
