Module 09 Central Electric P/N 5Q0-937-085-CJ
Module A5 Frt Sens. Drv. Assist P/N 2Q0-980-653
Settings must be as follows in Module 09 Cent. Electric:
ENG141650-MAS13782-Fernlicht_assistent-Will Beam assistant: responsivity adjustable via BAP:
Present
ENG141650-ENG141973-Fernlicht_assistent-Erweiterte_Fernlichtsteuerung
Basis -> Basis: FLA
Note that this setting on my car offers a third set of options ("Basis" and "Basis: FLA") to the ones you see on most web forums for this tweak, which are "Fernlicht ueber AFS" and "BCM-Fernlicht". Mine was set to "Basis", which is presumably what you get if you don't have the fancy-schmancy LED or dynamic headlamps.
ENG141650-ENG116639-Fernlicht_assistent-Fernlichtassistent Reset
"not active" or "active", depending on whether you want the auto feature to reset with every ignition cycle (active) or not (not active)
The next two settings make the FLA feature appear on the infotainment system:
ENG141650-ENG116637-Fernlicht_assistent-Menuesteuerung Fernlichtassistent:
present
ENG141650-ENG116641-Fernlicht_assistent-Menuesteuerung Fernlichtassistent Werkseinstellung:
present
On mine it's under Car -> Settings -> Lights -> Light assist (there's a tick box). Not sure but a reboot of the head unit may be required if it doesn't appear.
Module A5 long coding Byte 15 must be set to "20". (Not Byte 20 or 21 as has been reported elsewhere around the Internet for other vehicles. I had to hunt around a bit through the Long Coding Helper and that's where I found it.)
Tested it, and it works! On a dark stretch of road the "headlamp with an 'A' in it" symbol changed to blue, and my high beams lit up, to change back to white and dipped beams when I moved into a better lit area.
