I have an 03 C5 S6 with a navigation system, but the stock radio and navigation module have been replaced with an aftermarket double-din head-unit. It doesn't have navigation capabilities nor have I pulled it out to look at how it is wired. The car is relatively new to me still.

Does the digital clock update automatically based upon the GPS signal? I can't find much information about this, except it might have this functionality elsewhere outside the US?

Thanks.

Remove and reconnect the battery at exactly Midnight. However that will not do anything for the date.

2003 use the knob on the cluster to set time and date. Either pull or push on the left side pin. This vehicle is too old to have GPS antenna.

In the UK I have known the Clock to adjust from the RDS Traffic Signal from certain FM Radio Stations,

Google "RDS radio to adjust time"

However your aftermarket radio is unlikely to have any communication capability with your Instrument cluster !!

Sorry I was never notified about these subsequent posts... You mean the vehicle is too old for the GPS to set the date/time, correct? The car has an antenna on the roof for the GPS.

I noticed a similar problem in the B6/B7 and 8L Audis I owned - despite the sat nav (RNS-D and RNS-E) having correct time from GPS for some crazy reason Audi wrote the software to ignore that correct time and to sync the time shown by the sat nav from the instruments.

Crazy and totally wrong, but that's what Audi did :banghead:
