A6 C5 4.2 Allroad 12 electric faults? How to start inspecting those?

Hi. Half year ago I had break my exhaust system and I had leave my car for half year waiting for the repair. Finally it is done, but once returned from mechanic I found on screen big overheat info, however the temperature is fine. I have connected VCDS and it told me that I have ECU errors. Indeed there are 12 errors which come back instantly once engine is running. Mechanic had theory that battery can be damaged so I have ordered new one. In the meantime I have replaced the battery with the fine one from my other car and unfortunatelly the result is them same. How should I start inspecting that issue and find the problem? This list is overhelming me a bit...

13 Faults Found:

17980 - Left Engine Mount Solenoid Valve (N144)
P1572 - 002 - Short to Ground
17833 - EVAP Purge Valve (N80)
P1425 - 002 - Short to Ground
17984 - Right Engine Mount Solenoid Valve (N145)
P1576 - 002 - Short to Ground
17843 - Secondary Air Pump Relay (J299)
P1435 - 002 - Short to Ground
17829 - Secondary Air Injection Solenoid Valve (N112)
P1421 - 002 - Short to Ground
16441 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B2 S2: Heating Circuit
P0057 - 002 - Short to Ground
16421 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S2: Heating Circuit
P0037 - 002 - Short to Ground
16486 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70)
P0102 - 002 - Signal too Low
16415 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: Heating Circuit
P0031 - 002 - Short to Ground
16435 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B2 S1: Heating Circuit
P0051 - 002 - Short to Ground

any recommendations where to start?

"Short to ground" means the ECU (or other control module, but in this case the ECU...) isn't seeing any current draw on the positive half of that circuit. As Sheldon said, it could be a blown fuse. It could also be a disconnected harness, broken wire, etc. You'll have to use your eyeballs and a multimeter to figure that one out.

If you post a full auto scan, we may be able to provide more specific troubleshooting advice.

Hi all. Thanks for reply. Exactly it was because of burnt fuse no 34. After replacement all errors in ECU are gone, just the big red engine temperature is still yelling at me on big display. Since there are no errors, coolant is full and cool I just try to replace the sensor

coolant issue was bcoz of the broken wiring of the coolant level sensor.

everything is fixed just didnt wanted to leave topic without a word. No errors in autoscan just red coolant error display on fis
