I've heard there are 3 versions of the 09G valve body. My trans has a VCDS Part # 09G-927-750 AQ How do I find the correct one?

Hi there,

You have a few options:
  • Call the dealer—perhaps they can assist you.
  • Create an account at www.PartsLink24.com for a day of access and look up the part number(s) yourself.
  • Post an Auto-Scan of your vehicle, including the VIN, and see if someone here can help.

If you choose the latter, be sure to tag me @DrPeter in your new post. I will see it and do my best to assist, unless someone else beats me to it.

Hope this helps,
drpeter

Update. All sensors and solenoids pass Audi ohms test from/at the TCM connector. I replaced the TCM and here what I have now:
Code:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Address 02: Auto Trans Labels: 09G-927-750.clb
Part No: 09G 927 750 AQ
Component: AQ 250 6F 0544
Coding: 0008201
Shop #: WSC 01236 785 00200
VCID: 005E58D3561DC3FA5FB-5160

2 Faults Found:
01045 - Tiptronic Switch (F189)
008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent
16997 - Transmission Control Module
P0613 - 004 - Processor Malfunction - Intermittent

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I tried to clear the codes on the new TCM and reload the coding, but got an error 22, coding refused.
Any help?

Hello,

Did you happen to mouse over and click on the fault code number?

Try it here: 01045 <<< Click this <<< ;)

That 01045 never existed before the TCM replacement installed. My main concern is the 16997 P0613 and it refusing the coding. If there's something wrong with the new unit, I have to send it back.

Hello again,

I think it is time to post a before TCM replacement and after TCM replacement Auto-Scan so that we can see what is really going on.

Thank you,
