Hex v2 interface do not mark as register

I have an ABS light and a message that say : « ESP perturbation ». So i searched for a solution and found this one : http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/Audi_A6_(4F)_Brake_Electronics#Basic_Setting

I get a hex-v2 interface and try to follow the steps but when i try to go to « security access », i get the error that the interface must be registered. I don’t know if it is, because a friend gave it to me and it work find with him. Can some tell me how can i register the interface or can solve the problem in an other way ?

Can some tell me how can i register the interface or can solve the problem in an other way ?

Post a picture of your HEX-V2, or show is the serial number on the About screen in VCDS.
