I have a 2016 Audi A3 with an engine light displaying error code
19226 - Particulate Trap Bank 1
P2002 00 [11101101] - Efficiency Below Threshold
MIL ON - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear
Freeze Frame:
Fault Priority: 2
Fault Frequency: 1
Mileage: 105060 km
Date: 2024.08.29
Time: 13:00:24
Engine RPM: 1969.50 /min
Normed load value: 41.6 %
Vehicle speed: 68 km/h
Coolant temperature: 82 °C
Intake air temperature: 86 °C
Ambient air pressure: 1000 mbar
Voltage terminal 30: 14.400 V
Unlearning counter according OBD: 40
Exhaust mass flow of low-pressure EGR: calculated: 23.573
Differential pressure ratio: low-pressure EGR: 36.3 kg/h
Exh.recircul. 2: differential pres.sensor 1 bank 1: adap. value: 856.1 hPa Exhaust recirculat.2: different.press.sens.1 bank 1: raw value: 1056.0 hPa Exh.recircul.valve 1 bank 1: pos.feedback - Actual value: 57.21 % Exhaust recirc.valve 2 bank 1: posit.feedback - Actual value: 52.88 %
A few online forums and videos suggest it is a sensor issue, so I first replaced the sensor with a Delphi brand, but the error returned. I then tried an original Audi sensor from eBay, but the light still comes back even after clearing it. The car drives normally without any issues or limp mode, and I’ve covered a few thousand miles without any problems.
Is there a way to permanently clear this error code?
