If there is liquid in the cylinder its not a good sign. Perform compression and or leak down test. With glow plugs out spin the motor I guess.I would till spin engine by hand. If its locks in one spot its safe to say it got hydrolocked. If it's hydrolocked the engine will make a great coffee table once you paint it gold or silver.

Did you remove all the GP's and try to rotate (bar over by hand) or crank it over with the starter?
