Well VW has issued a "document" to delete any copy of FlashFiles from Erwin and to start using D3 infrastructure.

But D3-Boxes still cache flash files.

This weekend, we traveled to Germany and noticed that the car is going into limp mode more frequently. For example, if I press the cruise control button, the car immediately goes into limp mode. However, after filling up the tank completely, the issue disappeared, and there was no limp mode at all.

I still haven’t been able to update the software as I haven’t found anyone willing to help. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Asking because I am unsure.

I get that the Aftermarket tuning tools would need a file to upload.

Surely ODIS would have the File - Be it in the Software or the VAG Server it connects to ?

yes very sorry about that, my odis laptop is not working currently. did you try @Rainesh in the region of the Hague perhaps?

I can flash the ECU for you with Odis.

you can flash itself over VCP or odis E. I Think VW will not do that as they now know - ECU is tuned = oow. So to do repair - they can only replace ECU
Just wonder why you not vist your tuner to fix / restore ECU to factory ?

Thanks, everyone, for the advice and guidance! Over the holidays I’ve obtained the stock 3069.frf file and a tool to update the ECU firmware myself. I’ll be performing the update this weekend and will share my experience and results here once it’s complete, in case it helps others facing similar issues.
