Hi
@mal . apology up front. This is more of a rant than help.
Uwe's name is spelled U W E not Ewe, not Uew. How about getting that right out of respect for the owner of Ross-Tech, creator of VAG-COM and .
Next, you have been told this is likely a wiring issue. You asked how to get wiring diagrams. Did you get them? Are you using them along with a multimeter to figure out why you do not have power where you should?
What magic are you expecting from the members of this forum who are trying to help you? You write:
How is the mirror you are looking into? You are not supplying us with good information. We can't help if you cannot do tests to tell us where the problems are starting. We are not in front of the car. You are.
So let's back up. You have a condition where the Vign is 0 volts when the key is turned on. It should not be. It should be near or exceeding 12v. Could you please consult the
wiring diagram and start looking at why there is no voltage on Vign? That's supposed to be Terminal 15 which I believe is the switched 12v to the vehicle. That's the starting point as has been said in this thread.
Find a point to access terminal 15. Switch the key to on. Does it go to 12v?
If yes, then make sure that the terminal 15 goes to every place it is supposed connect and that 12v is present with the key on.
If no, then why not? Why is 15 not being switched from terminal 30?
As
@Dr Sheldon is known to say, science/logic is what's required to work through these problems.
@Uwe and
@EuroX have both suggested you have a wiring/power problem but I have yet to see anything written by you that you investigated why there is a power issue.
You are frustrated with our replies? Seriously? What exactly are you looking for us to provide? When will you begin doing the work we suggest?
