Morning all!
Having the above error somewhat randomly after fitting a replacement injector to cylinder #3. The injector I used is sold as "recon" and as a result comes with a set of risks, I just want to try and narrow down if this "new" injector is at fault to speak to the seller to see what my options are;
Full Auto Scan;
Specifically the faults that I am interested in. I was driving and the engine just cut out, was able to restart with an ignition cycle only for it to quit 30 seconds later. The second stop, the engine would just crank and never fire, I disconnected Injector 3 (the one I replaced) and was able to limp home. Sadly I cant recreate this issue with any consistency.
Few stats that may be useful ?
Ive chatted to a mechanic friend and he suggested the fault (P2147) from his experience is signs of a bad injector, testing is confirmed by disconnecting each in sequence and trying to crank the engine. The issue I have is that my fault seems to clear itself with ignition cycle so I cant get 100% repeatable tests to confirm the suspect #3 injector.
Has anyone maybe seen the issue before or notice any extremes in my very narrow data logs?
