2001 Jetta TDI ALH

I have a 2001 Jetta TDI ALH Manual, I have been trying to fix it and get it running properly for my ALH rabbit pick up swap. When I start it up it starts fine but ben I give it some throttle it smokes like crazy and it sounds like it is hitting the limiter ( it is not but that's the best I can describe I don't know how to add a video to this) It will only go to like 2500 rpm even if I have it to the floor. I have checked the fuses and they all check out I just don't know where to go from here.

"Open or Short to Ground" can mean a missing +12V on the other side of the actuator. Have you got a wiring diagram? If I had to guess those things all share a common source of +12V and when you find that, you will have found the problem.

yes i have checked all the plugs it has ground and voltage

You have shortcircuited wires for sure , i remember fixing something like this , on the right side of the car ( your left when you look at the engine )

do you remember where?

You ll see a loom of wires coming around the engine on that side , strip the wires in that area
