Greetings. Over the past 12 months I have been upgrading a few things on my Transporter T6, it is a basic Startline model. I consider myself a capable basic user of VCDS when it comes to using it for running faults but when it comes to coding I'm pretty useless. I have fitted a tailgate in place of the original barn doors, including running in the extra wiring for the locking to work, for the heated rear screen and reversing camera. I didn't want to keep the rear wiper so I removed that and didn't need to run any wiring for it. New LED tail lights. I have managed to code it as far as getting the things to work (not the camera as yet) but I have also created some fault codes.
I have also fitted a multi function steering wheel. Again I have had a go at coding it and it seems to work fine.
I did have a Discovery Media unit upgrade fitted and coded, but the unit decided to die after a couple of months, so I now have an Alpine after market media unit.
