hi guys, customer called today with an 06 treg v10 tdi says engine makes a pop pop pop noises. he also states it starts right up idles just fine and drives good. thats all the info i got other than 67k miles.

Pop noises can be various as well as their causes. Without having heard the noise and with this little info the first thing I thought of is an injector or injector seal. It's very hard to say with this little info. What is the frequency of the noise, is it a few seconds apart or constant? Does it seem to come from the intake or from the injectors?
