If my verbiage is slightly off, please forgive me, I've never posted before (always had specific things I could google).
TLDR: I need to disable the low brake pad warning ("BRAKE") until Monday morning.
I tried to access the Long Coding in my ABS controller to find the brake warning light but it says... I forgot the exact language (will go run VCDS again once this laptop charges a bit more) but it said I need to do the auto-scan (first thing I did before trying this and then to map it also. It had a communication issue during the mapping of one module so I don't know if it finished and where the log is saved. I'll try to map it again in a bit. My next question is, what happens next? Presumably, something happens after both are done, do I need to wait for a VCDS team member to do some manual syncing or is it automated and after some time it'll be possible to access the extra long coding? I didn't see anything about this issue but truth be told, I didn't de an exhaustive search/try to skim every thread here, figured it was a common thing but maybe it's not?
Vehicle: 2021 Audi E-Tron - I use my vehicle for limousine service and right now... I have a speed sensor triggering my low brake pad signal. It's set to go into the dealership on Monday however I still have client pickups this weekend and I'd _really_ like that damn light off.
On my other Audi (A6), I can just go to ...G37? and turn off the warning light if I needed to (did once for the same reason but that time the brakes were actually just hitting the 20% mark) but that same option isn't there on this car (at least not on the most current version).
Point of clarification: My mechanic verified my physical brakes (regen does most of my stopping) look new still so he said it's not the pads/they're safe.
How does one go about fixing this? If there's a thread already that explains this, please link me to it, I searched but came up empty (perhaps I just lack the correct search words?).
Thank you i advance!
P.S. I also need to turn off automatic unlocking when "Parking". The last thing I want is an Audi Limousine unlocking at night in a big city. While most of the places I drive are pretty safe, it takes only one <not nice person> to make one regret not "fixing" this default design choice.
