On my other A4 B6 3.0 I had to fit used ABS Controller, bought one (same model numbers Bosch 5.7) and installed it but it won't code due K-Line Fail. Any ideas anyone? Here is the Auto Scan.

Hi Philip,

If the K-line was down entirely you would not have any communication. The scan you posted appears to be fine so I hope the new/used unit was installed at that time.

If you haven't done so already please try the steps here with the engine running at idle in a ventilated place or a battery charger connected:

Nice! Thanks for the update and now that I think about it Bosch 5.3 and 5.7 get grumpy and drop communication when you enter an incorrect Login. It could be confused with a communication problem (i.e. like a K-line failure).

I'll mark this solved and have a great weekend as well.
