Hi, can anybody give me the info on how I can increase the engine idle speed on a 1.2 Tsi polo. It idles now at around 650rpm without any electrical load on it and feels a bit lumpy so bit more rpm should make it a bit smoother. Got the latest update file if that’s going to help. Thanks.

Unlikely to be possible with VCDS. There may be an Adaptation channel for it, but chances are it's locked down and can't be changed.

Ahh that’s not good news then I was thinking it wouldn’t be two much trouble to alter that.

Way back when, it wasn't. But with with ever tightening emissions standards, the regulators frowned on allowing such adjustments and the car makers have complied.
