Why ?

And I tried to buy a licensed copy of the interface and software, but there is no shipping option to my country (Brazil). I would like to understand why, since almost all countries in South America (Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay and even Venezuela) are on the shipping list.

We routinely run into complications when we've sent products to the countries listed and more often than not the product ends up back at our door.

Our two distributors in Spain do sell to these countries.

This shows for 299 euros. While yes it is higher, is not 2.5x the price. The other one does show something along the lines of what you said. We don't control the prices our distributors sell at, aside from barring them from undercutting us.

I answered in your other thread. The 100% tariff is the main reason. There is no point in Ross-Tech trying to market English only units in a Portuguese speaking country where the government enforces a 100% tariff.

As mentioned in the other thread, we have a party interested in importing. They are exploring how they might get around the tariff.

We now have our own Portuguese translation and will not be asking huge markup for access to that translation. You may see prices from our distributors in Portugal adjusting based on our translation.

@ Mike R has spoken correctly - Ross-Tech cannot control the price that others offer the product. However, the product will never be at the price at which the illegal products are offered and this will be a problem for any legit seller in your country.

The Brazilian government basically kept our product out of the country while letting the Chinese knock-offs in for free. Not much we can do about that now.

We thank you for your honesty and we understand that you may not choose to find a way to bring a genuine system to your country. You need to understand that we only support our genuine customer base in this forum. There are others for those who cannot obtain a genuine product.
