I have recently purchased a MY2025 Cupra Born & Audi A1, if you would like a complete scan
25.3 will only allow fault code clearing on these models, as it won't even allow access to most of the modules
Cannot even reset the service data, which has nothing to do with cyber-hacking
What were they thinking???

Many 2024 models need the beta 24.8 due to VAG introducing yet another level of "diagnostic protection"!

Had a 2024 Tiguan this morning that we were unable to reset maintenance warnings on or complete a scan on almost any of the modules. I'm on release 25.3.0, is there anything I can try to reset his oil change warning?

No auto scan :/

It's probable that SRI reset is protected by SFD on a 2024 model, we need an Auto-Scan to confirm if that is the case here.

I did save an autoscan but it didnt save on my computer somehow.... Gave the car to customer and he is gone.

I did try it on my autel scanner as well and it said the module was SFD locked and required a paid subscription. Not sure if that helps

Look in the folder C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Scans where VCDS auto saves all scans...

That's a very weird partial scan, which doesn't show the address of interest i.e the instruments!?

Yea, only communicated with 4 modules. I did try to "select a control module" as well and it only showed those 4 under the "installed" tab.

@Uwe Any ideas why only those modules show in the scan? I'm wondering if this is SFD2 related?

That scan would make Dr Lexus proud. Do you happen to have very bad wifi signal? Could you try with USB and make sure the ignition is ON (or even better, engine running) please?

I thought it was odd, so i tried to system scan it multiple times... same result. Did not show any other modules installed on vehicle. Ignition was on. Car is no longer here so i cannot try with USB but if he returns i will try it.
