Background:
Bought the car 4months ago and immidiatele got the first warning for electrical malfunction. This cleared with restarting the car.
Also had issues with the adative cruise control disengaging. This was repaired @ Audi by replacing the heater for the laser sensor in the front bumper. However I noticed a lot of misc. communication errors already here.
One week ago I was driving the car in electric mode (in the rain) and the car first told me that a restart will not be possible due to an electrical malfunction. A couple of minutes later the warning turned red and I was told to park the car. After this I have not been able to start the car.
Audi ran a scan and said that the JX1 (80A90080A) needed replacing aswell as the wiring harness. (7500€)
I decided to bring the car back home to see if I'd be able to repair it myself as the first available slot is over a month away.
Today I changesd the JX1 (80A90080A) inverter module with a used one I bought but I still seem to get the same DTCs.
I have measured all fuses and they seem to be in order.
I measured the T28b connector which connects to the JX1 module and one pin gets 12V continuos feed and another when the power is on so I'm sure that the module get its 12V feed.
All ofthe problems seem to be due to communication issues. What could be causing this besides a lack of 12V feed to the module? Bad wiring? Other?
