2013 VW UP lost basic settings on gearbox no crank no start

hi,
i have got issue with a 2013 UP it has lost basic settings on ASG gearbox. car has 15k miles on clock, car is japan import i have replaced the instrument cluster with UK one programmed and coded with ODIS but it lost basic setting and i am unable to perform basic stetting its keep failing as it don't see car in neutral from the gear selector and the gear selector motors. i have replaced TCM, Gear selector motors and gear selector inside the car but no luck. i have put the old clock back into car but same issue. there is a old Post in this forum about same issue and @NEtech has advised a process which i am bit confused. he Mentioned this

it doesn't make sense to me why just removing instrument cluster will cause this issue.

so these values are measuring blocks? or basic settings?

I have followed @NEtech advice but no luck. I have done everything i could think of but the stupid N light still flashing and the gearbox ECU don't know where the gear selector is and the gearbox Neutral position .any help will be appreciate. My main concern is below

I'm just a casual observer here on this post, you've had the help of very knowledgeable members and accurate information..... because this was a Japanese import / or a auction vehicle..... is there a chance that this vehicle has the incorrect transmission in it ? Or, one that was swapped out before auction? Could there be crucial parts missing inside this transmission? I'm just thinking "outside of the box" so to speak.

I have access to Odis which will let know if there are any changes to car i.e retrofit. I don't think it is wrong gearbox

HI did you manage to resolve this? Currently same issue with gear selector showing as malfunction so not allowed full basic settings to complete successfully
